The Winter 2018 issue of James Renwick Alliance's Craft Quarterly features an article about Shared Ground: Cross Disciplinary Approaches to Craft Studies, a groundbreaking symposium held in New York City September 20-22, 2018. Organized with support from the Windgate Foundation, the symposium was a collaboration between the Center for Craft, the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), and the Bard Graduate Center, and explored cross-disciplinary approaches to craft studies, with an eye towards intersecting and divergent theories, methodologies, and sites of practice.
