Pre-COVID a large group of American Studies Association annual meeting attendees were to sit and stitch a “controversial” but actually anti-racist embroidery design. The sewing and conversation represented an intervention in traditional academic conference programming. COVID-19 restrictions now require a transition to an online format. Stitching Kits of sewing supplies and pattern will now be mailed to attendees so they can sew with us online rather than in person. We are skilled at webinar delivery. The podcast episode will record the webinar for a global reach.
