The Craft Education Fellowship is a two-year program that seeks to increase the impact of craft education in community spaces nationwide, with a particular focus on working with the Center’s Teaching Artist Cohort.
Fellowship Goals
Understand issues and needs facing teaching artists
Activate the Center for Craft’s network of teaching artists to support craft-based education projects that increase their impact in community spaces nationwide
Increase opportunities for Teaching Artist Cohort members past and present to connect with and learn from their peers

The Craft Education Fellow is a full-time member of the Center for Craft team who will oversee the planning, implementation, and facilitation of expanded programming and convenings for the Center’s Teaching Artist Cohort, as well as the development of a new craft-based education grant for current and former Teaching Artists. The aim is to deepen the community vitality of the Teaching Artist program at the local and national levels.
