With the Windgate Fellowship, I will travel to Europe to visit sites and view museum collections that will act as inspiration for my work, including London, England, Sedlec, Czech Republic, and Rome, Italy. In the US, I will attend several workshops in order to acquire additional skills in such areas as taxidermy, leatherwork, Victorian hairwork, and metals techniques. The remaining funds will be allocated for materials, equipment, and tools.
