This research draws from the Arizona State University Art Museum collection to focus on historically understudied women-identified metalsmiths. The project will culminate in a group exhibition highlighting narratives missing from metalwork by looking closely at artists who explore the possibilities of diverse forms and subjects within metallurgy.
