This year’s ten fellows receive a total of $150,000.
A visionary program dedicated to supporting scholarly craft research in the United States, the 2020 Craft Research Fund awarded 11 organizations, curators, scholars, and graduate students, who will receive a total of $94,310.04 to support research, exhibitions, catalogs, and projects in the field of craft.
The Center for Craft is thrilled to announce two inaugural awardees for the 2020 Craft Research Fund Artist Fellowship: BA Harrington and Cannupa Hanska Luger.
The Center for Craft and the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce are pleased to share the Asheville Arts Market Study, an analysis of the Art Market Survey conducted in Winter/Spring 2018 to assess affordable housing and space needs for Asheville’s creatives, including artists, makers, performers, musicians, writers, designers, etc.
This January, graduate students from Warren Wilson College’s Critical and Historical Craft Studies program will be in residence at Center for Craft.
